Most of the options are set in dialog boxes that can be opened through the Preference submenu in the File menu. 

The different options available from this submenu, are grouped into five different categories:

	• Nodes and events
	• Folders
	• Export options
	• Data file options
	• Misc. options

In addition to these categories also custom table formats are stored in the preference file. These are controlled by using the table format menus in the toolbar.
